Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this event offers a free evening of entertainment. Flicks screens newly released, family-friendly movies in an outdoor park setting. The event also features children’s games, a petting zoo, and food vendors. Guests are invited to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs, however, no pets are allowed.

Get all dolled up and bike through Downtown Lexington to numerous stops. You’ll be given a passport to stamp at each stop that will include activities, food, and drinks. Complete the event at The Break Room where an after party (with food trucks) will be hosted. Registration is only $10 and all ages are welcome.
Day-of registration starts at 5:30 PM. The big event starts at 6 PM!

The 40th annual American Founders Bank Woodland Art Fair, produced by Lexington Art League and LFUCG’s Parks and Recreation, is Lexington’s largest (free) outdoor cultural event, with over 65,000 visitors coming to Woodland Park over the weekend. The event was named under Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 events, and under Kentucky Travel Industry Association’s Top 10 festivals.
In addition to 200 of the nation’s finest juried artists and master craftsmen, the fair offers free live entertainment on the gazebo stages, hands-on activities for children in the KidZone, bike check and plenty of food and bar concessions.
Baby care is available, as well as a free shuttle service, which will run every 10 minutes.

WaterFest, a new event at Shaker Village this year, will be a day of exploration, fun and learning about water. Held in conjunction with this family-friendly festival will be the Kentucky Palisades Paddle SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) race, presented by the Southern Stroke Paddle Series, at Shaker Landing. Shaker Village’s annual down-home harvest celebration, HarvestFest, will return this year, remaining a family-friendly event. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to meet the farm animals, enjoy live music, climb hay stacks and bob for apples in the Kids’ Village, taste apple butter made from apples in Shaker Village’s orchard, and much more.
