‘In the Sierras in 1850s, small communities of miners sprang up to mine and panhandle for gold. Hoke, Old Jake, Georgia, Moscow and Boston are such men – just trying to survive, enjoy life with a little bit of money in their pocket, forgetting past hardships, and enjoying the beauty and fresh air of their mountain life.
