A fusion of soul, funk, blues, jazz with some hip hop and ear drum pleasing instrumentals, Soul Funkin Dangerous was born on May 9th, 2009, with the first show at Tin Roof – Lexington. Since then, SFD have played countless shows and events, including World Equestrian Games, Thursday Night Live, Here for Haiti, Bak 2 Skool Bash, UK Battle of the Bands and Pedalpalooza. They have been fortunate enough to open for The Wailers (twice), Afroman, The Dynamites as well as many local and regional acts.
