R. Ring is Kelley Deal of the Breeders (of “Cannonball” fame, for those of you who didn’t keep up with the best of the ’90s MTV hits) and Mike Montgomery of Cincinnati/Kentucky-based Ampline. Sparse, punk-inspired, energetic-without-being-too-loud; chances are they might throw in a couple stripped down versions of Breeders classics as well.
