Arcuragi is often credited with being a pioneer of a genre known as “Death Gospel,” which combines elements of outlaw country, folk and gospel; earlier this week he was named as one of the “Bands That Should Be Bigger” by NPR Music. His most recent album, “Like A Fire,” was produced and engineered in Lexington by Duane Lundy at Shangri-La Studios.
